Optometrists

Optometrists are responsible for the comprehensive eye examination and consultation.
All Optometrists in EyeCareHK are registered (Part I) optometrists, we are licensed to use diagnostic eye drugs for comprehensive pupil-dilated eye examination. Our optometrists are experienced in eye check in Children, Myopia Control, Otthokeralogy refractive treatment.

Ophthalmic Opticians

All Ophthalmic Opticians are full of experience and academic knowledge. They all graduated from Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) with Higher Diploma in Ophthalmic Dispensing & practice management. Ophthalmic Opticians will take care of you in choosing the appropriate ophthalmic lens types and frames. They will provide professional advices according to your prescriptions given by Optometrists.
We are committed to observing the professional guidelines for optical products given by the Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists and the Hong Kong Optometric Association.

Ophthalmic Assistants

All Ophthalmic Assistants are full of experience and patience. They will take care of you and your children for the pre-test of the comprehensive eye examination. They will perform some ophthalmic testing under the supervision of your optometrists.

Ophthalmologists/ Other specialists

Optometrists will suggest you to consult other health professionals according to your clinical diagnosis of your ocular conditions or general health. e.g. Diabetic patients may need more attention from your internist/ dietitian. Or patients suffered from retinal detachment have to consult a retinal specialist. EyeCareHK can refer you to the right place whenever necessary.
