Contact lenses & Special contact lenses fitting
Corneal profile measurement, tears quality, corneal curvatures, refractive errors are the important elements for a successful contact lens fitting. Optometrists will make good use of this clinical information to provide you with the most suitable contact lens available after discussing with you the wearing modality and your visual needs. It is important to arrange after-care appointment to follow up with the corneal health, lens stability and visual acuity regularly.
For some special ocular conditions, like Keratoconus, different lens type will be needed.
Contact lens wearers may encounter some problems due to prolonged lens wearing and dryness. Regular check-up for contact lens wearers are thus recommended. There will be some new design of contact lens that may better fit your ocular conditions and visual needs from time to time.
