【視力測驗證明書】《海事處》四月十五日 更新
2015年 四月十五日, 《海事處》就船長或遊樂船隻操作人的《視力測驗證明書》有所更新。重點更新如下:
a /視力測驗的方法及標準的更新詳情可見MO935 MO936 的第二頁。 b/ 《視力測驗證明書》的有效期為兩年。
c/ 只接受註冊視光師 ( part I or Part II) 或,註冊西醫的簽署。 d/ 需以不同的表格MO935/MO936分別作《 遊樂船隻操作人》 或 《船長》的 簽署。 《海事處》對遊樂船隻（遊艇）操作人的視力及色覺有一定的要求，當中包括遠距視力 (不論是否需用助視鏡)，近距視力，中距視力及色覺等等。

Where can I get the eyesight test certificate the pleasure vessels operators/ Local Vessel (Coxswain) ?
The Marine Department had updated the Eyesight test requirement on 15 April 2015 Highlights for the recent update: a.) accepted testing methods is provided as guidance for registered medical optometrists and registered medical practitioners; b.) the validity of certificate is changed from one year to two years; c.) only Part I or Part II Registered Optometrist or Registered Medical Practitioner is accepted to sign this certificate; and d.) two individual forms with different form number M.O. 935 and M.O. 936 are used for pleasure vessel operator and local coxswain, respectively. There is a visual requirement from Marine Department of Hong Kong for the pleasure vessels operators, which includes distant, intermediate & near visual acuities and color vision function.
